FACE OF D’NORTH is a pageantry that promotes the socio-cultural heritage of the Northern Nigeria.
The desire to promote “Talents” as well as the “rich socio-cultural heritage” of the northern Nigerian in the virtue of skill acquisition in art & craft, fashion & style as well as cultural display, has given birth to a new talent show tagged, “Face Of D’North” This is in Collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Culture and Tourism and National Orientation.
*One exciting thing about the Face of D’ North is that, it that it gives room to showcase the diversity of the rich cultural heritage of the northern cachet; it re-awakens the hidden talents of our northern youths and gets them productive. This is one MAJOR area that the youths can be empowered as a result of the various pet projects from the Ambassadors of the Face of D’North. It is also a vehicle that will help promote the unity of the Northern Nigeria. It is indeed a first of its kind, this is an exhibition that will portray a positive course in the society today, taken morals and religious grounds into cognizance.
AUDITIONS: Auditions will be done in some selected cities; the grand finale is scheduled to take place in Abuja on the 18th of December 2017. This will be done by some panel of judges pinched from various sectors in the Entertainment Industry.
Auditions will to be aired on the local, National / International television Stations including DSTV, Print Media and Radio stations in Nigeria.
All interested contestants are requested to follow this link for their applications. They will be invited for auditions thereafter, every qualifier will be identified and invited to compete at the Grand finale.
Contestants should be between the ages of 18 – 37 years old.
The contestants will be judged for:

- –- Uniqueness from the various traditional attires and Dinner gowns
- –- Composures
- –- Beauty and Style
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
*FACE OF D’NORTH “FODN” is aimed at re-awakening that hidden talents of our northern youths as well as giving them, “empowerment”.
*It is also aimed at promoting the huge and amazing cultural heritage of the northern Nigeria, a show that will portray a positive course in the society today and also providing job opportunities during the period of this exercise.
*On the fashion segment, fabrics from the northern Nigeria will be highly showcased as well as in art & craft.
*FACE OF D’NORTH is to further promote PEACE, LOVE and UNITY amongst the northerners and Nigerians in general.
*FODN shall be producing a WINNER as an Ambassador, FACE OF D’NORTH (2017 edition) who will use our NGO in reaching out to the needy with her pet project.
PLEASE NOTE: The Dress code on the MAJOR event would be, “NO BIKINIS ON THE SHOW” “DRESS DECENT” is the key WORD here, taken MORALS and RELIGIOUS grounds into cognizance.
The major event of the Face Of D’ North will be in the 17th of December 2017 at the Sheraton Hotels, Abuja, featuring the winners from various auditioning centres for the grand finale Competition.
